Leicester City close to get new signing over the line, player wants move, Everton, West Ham and Arsenal in the mix!

The transfer talk is growing as new faces could be on the way in, but it’s changed slightly in focus as James Tarkowski looks hotter and hotter with Leicester City possibly closing in on a deal which would see West Ham snubbed as they are not able to pay the asking price.

James Tarkowski is on a contract running for two more years and it would probably be wise for Burnley to cash in and don’t see another £10million just vanish as the months pass by until they are forced to sell. Leicester City are according to the latest sources willing to go to £30million and with West Ham being turned down at £27million you will probably not see them going any higher.

Arsenal is said to be monitoring the situation closely, and could together with Everton come in with late bids to force a move, but Leicester City are seen as favorites, able to guarantee a place in their first team, and what a great signing it would have been. Tarkowski was left out of the England squad for their Nation League games, and it was a surprise that he wasn’t selected by Gareth Southgate.

The rumours of moves for another Burnley player, young talent Dwight McNeill has gone cold again and Celtic midfielder Callum McGregor reported to be a close target and near a medical has not either been talked much about lately, might be that prices are set too high to even consider a bid.

Demarai Gray could be a key to a solution for Leicester City as the winger can be sold for a fee close to £20million with both Newcastle and Spurs said to be in the hunt for his signature. Dennis Praet is also chased by a number of Italian clubs and both Atalanta and Torino could be in that battle.

Adrien Silva, Islam Slimani, Rachid Ghezzal, Fousseni Diabatte and Matty James has not featured in pre-season and they are probably all out of the first team picture and could be seen leaving. A happy surprise yesterday was to see Daniel Amartey back in action, and his goal secured the draw yesterday, but he is also said to be looking for a move and Bundesliga clubs Stuttgart and Hoffenheim are both been mentioned as possible new destinations.

The left back position is one discussed heavily around on different forums with Jamal Lewis from Norwich and Aston Villa’s Matt Target together with Brentford option Nico Henry all in the mix. Atalanta alternative Robin Gosens is also talked about as the newly German international debutant is a player that could be slotted straight into the left back position.
