Leicester 4, Braga 0, positives and negatives, player ratings, and match report

Brendan Rodgers and his Leicester City are on a great run at the moment and with a new selection of players in the starting line-up v. Braga, Rodgers just continued to deliver a great and solid performance over two halfs.

Kelechi Iheanacho was the preferred player up-front and with James Maddison also in the starting line-up your are of course certain of getting some great goal chances and after 20 minutes with a bit of juggling and dribbling with the ball, Iheanacho found the net and a deserved 1-0 lead.

Just as the second half had finished Leicester City scored another great goal from a Kelechi Iheanacho shot, deflected by a Braga defender and in it went and in real the game was finished.

Braga had to open up and then it was time for a third goal coming after another great act by Kelechi Ihenacho playing Dennis Praet through and after 67 minutes 3-0, with Praet just minutes before had come in to replace Cengiz Under.

Leicester City wasn’t finished with three goals and wanted more, and it was well deserved when James Maddison came through and scored the final and fourth goal of the game after 78 minutes.

There were more chances to scored with Harvey Barnes and Kelechi Iheanacho both having shots and dribbles stopped, and it all finished with a 4-0 win.

Brendan Rodgers looks certain to get Leicester City into the finals of the Europa League and with three wins out of three in this tournament we have seen the depth of the Leicester City squad and credit to all players as they are progressing and performing well.

The team today looked well settled in a 3-4-3, and it was a joyful game to watch. Wes Morgan also made his entry with Christian Fuchs making a new start and looks in form.
