Not yet any confirmation, but as we have experienced every summer at least one big money move out the door at Leicester is a certainty. Few believed that Arsenal would be willing to pay a price of £60million for James Maddison, but according to special sources, this is seen as concrete.Embed from Getty Images
The rumour of a move to The Emirates has been there during most of the summer and last season showed that Leicester can cope without James Maddison and still get results and without him in the team there are more options for Brendan Rodgers and a more direct attacking style could be installed.
There could be more players on the move as Ayoze Perez has attracted some interest from Everton, all this to get a new move for a quality flank man possible. Philippe Coutinho is still very much a player that is linked and with a possible James Maddison move to Arsenal close to completion, it will be easier to bring in the Barcelona player to the club with a direct chance to get a steady position in the team.Embed from Getty Images
Few have seen the possibility to have both players, Coutinho and Maddison, at the club at the same time as both will be demanding a starting position in the team, and they are similar, with Coutinho a better option wide. An addition of Coutinho will give Brendan Rodgers more options and the mobility of the offensive line will be given a new dimention.
With the additions of Patson Dake and Boubakary Soumare and a return to fitness for Harvey Barnes this will of course look very promising and more options offensively and in midfield.
Arsenal must be desperate as they are preparing a full turnover of their squad and seeing James Maddison as one of five new signings. Ben White of Brighton to be added for a fee of £50million and James Maddison valued to £60million, Arteta must hit bulls eye with this or he will be out the door faster than lightening, but again we don’t have to worry about Arsenal.Embed from Getty Images
Pundits and experts are not certain about the Philippe Coutinho to Leicester rumour, but instead seen PSV winger Noni Madueke as the ideal man, though he is heavily linked with AC Milan and it will be a struggle to get him in, but nothing is certain. Bournemouth winger Arnout Banjuma is another player that is often mentioned and with a tranfer link to Leicester.
Reports yesterday suggested that Daniel James was also close to a move, but that looks a bit in the air still as Man Utd probably would be reluctant to let a player join a rival on loan and not yet probably decided on the Welsh international that could be seen as an important squad member at Old Trafford also next season.
