Watching todays training and all those players in action that in a way are linked with other clubs and could be departing, do they still have future or is this the last we will see of them, exciting days coming up, closing in on that first pre-season game on Saturday v. Burton.

Benkovic is back in training after loan spells last season at Cardiff, Bristol City and Leuven, none of them were really good and the situation for Benkovic looks a bit difficult, no particular club is said to be in line for a move for him and he might be back at the club for a while to gain full fitness, his contract is running until the summer of 2023.

His name is linked with a move to Arsenal and that rumours are flying daily so this looks a bit of a fire that will not stop burning. Maddison had no impact for England in the Euro’s and missed the squad with a hampered season and a bit in and out of the team. He needs to get his fitness up and going, but TCF believe that Maddison will be leaving sooner rather than later.

Back at Leicester again, but certain to leave according to sources in Turkey, he is still a player that could on his best days be a grand flank alternative, but again looks as if Brendan Rodgers have other ideas and not looking for Ghezzal as a possible flank alternative, knowing that he was the best player in a team that won the League, but we believe this will be the last we will see of Ghezzal at Leicester permanent.

He has had a number of great seasons with Leuven in Belgium, but not yet seen him in play for the first team at Leicester, not much said about him either, but spotted today taking part, so we just have to wait and see what the future brings for the promising midfielder.

A link to Burnley and a possible move out to Turf Moor looks a bit far away so to say. TCF believe Marc will be staying on and probably see out his contract, add another year and be part of the projoect going forward.

Also back after a good loan spell at Luton last season, still uncertain about his role next season and don’t be surprised if he joins up with another club to get even more experience before being seen as a full potential first teamer at Leicester.

Linked away in the January transfer window but little or no activity around his name at the moment. Newcastle, Southampton and West Bromwich were all linked with him previously and a move could be on somewhere, but not yet seen him linked especially with no other club at the moment.
The players that were involved in the Euro’s final part has not yet arrived back with Kasper Schmeichel, Danny Ward, Timothy Castagne, Yourie Tielemans and Dennis Praet all on holliday still. Praet is the only one of these players that could be seen as a player leaving with his former club Sampdoria with Claudio Ranieri in charge said to be eager to get him back.
The first pre-season game will be played away against Burton Albion on Saturday and it will be interesting to see how it all looks when starting up.
