The saga of Philippe Coutinho and his next move in football is a transfer sage ongoing, and the latest news are that Arsenal is also involved in this move as well. Report suggested that Leicester were front runners in the chase a few weeks back, but nothing new in that rumour.

Accordingly Barcelona is eager to get this move over the line as fast as possible to get other players added and ready for the season coming up. New signings Depay and Aguero are still missing their clearance and of course getting a deal done as fast as possible for Messi is first priority from Barca headquarters.

Leicester are in chase for a flank midfielder or a wide attacking option, and a lot of names are tracked as the season start comes soon. Coutinho would have been a great and exciting signing but wage demands could stop a move to any other club, with the 29 year old Brazilian international ready to accept a heavy wage cut.

In recent articles Leicester looks eager to get a move over the line fast, but also a move for a central defender is in demand, but the form of Filip Benkovic could be seen as a key, as his presence over the next few weeks could give Brendan Rodgers answers in his own squad and of course having the Croatian international to his disposal and in his best form could see the chase for a new central defender stopped as other players such as Evans, Fofana and Soyuncu would be in front in the pecking order.
