As we predicted Kamal Sowah is a confirmed departure from Leicester, but not yet seen announced by his new club Brugge, returning to Belgian football to continue his career and what a chance. Brugge is as usual in the group stages of the Champions League and Sowah will be at a higher European level than he would have been playing for Leicester.
Brugge will take on Man City, Paris and RB Leipzig, what a grand chance for Sowah to shine against some of the best teams in Europe and hopefully go to his next step in football as Leicester players will concentrate on Europa League again this semester.
Embed from Getty ImagesInteresting to see how Leicester will do against teams such as Spartak Moscow, Legia Warsaw and Napoli. Grand games coming up and hopefully it will be possible to get to the next stage with Napoli seen as the strongest of those opponents, but none of the games will be easy and no walk on the water.
This is another European experience for Leicester who also competed in the competition last season but surprisingly missed the opportunity of going all the way to the final being stopped by Slavia Prague in the round of 16, with the Czech’s going throug to the quarter finals losing to Arsenal.
