Yesterday we introduced two players we believed would be good additions to a Leicester squad, today new names are in the hat with Brentford central defender Pontus Jansson and Everton left back Lucas Digne both linked with a move to King Power

Digne is said to have fallen out of favor under new manager Rafael Benitez and looks for a chance to leave Goodison Park, Leicester and Newcastle are said to be the leading chasers.

Leicester do need to bring in a long term alternative left back with international quality, not really being able to settle the position in full after Ben Chilwell left. Digne would fit the bill perfectly and to have Luke Thomas as an alternative choice would be a good combo.

Ryan Bertrand would probably see his future a bit in the air if this move happens, but so far he has not been able to impress and at the age of 32 probably not seen as a long term alternative with the former Chelsea and Southampton player set to be let to leave if this move happens.

Lucas Digne would probably long term see Newcastle as a grand alternative, but looking short term Leicester would be in the front seat as they do look to be secure in their run for Premier League football in the upcoming seasons with The Magpies in a race to survive.

European football would probably also be a trigger as we do believe Leicester will be capable of going through to the next round playing Randers in their first Conference game in the new year.

Digne would be regarded as a hot rumour and the first to be so closing in on the January transfer window. Digne is proven international with 43 caps for France and a previous life at Barcelona. PSG, Roma and Lille.
