Former and current Leicester players on the move and great news about certain transfer targets

Leicester will send two of their players out on moves to other clubs. Filip Benkovic is close to a move to Serie A club Udinese. His stay at Leicester did become nothing but a nightmare as injuries, lack of trust from the manager and a number of bad loan moves destroyed any hope of a good future. This move to Udinese could not come any sooner for all parties.

Benkovic looked to have had a good pre-season and being part of the squad at an early stage being involved in pre-season and the Community Shield game squad we would have thought Brendan Rodgers would turn to him when injuries and sickness striked, but this became the result instead.

We will not see the £33million rated Charles De Ketalaere joining this January, but he is more than likely to make his next step as Leicester are the one club to be mentioned by most scouts and agents as a club to go to for a development, game time and also not being stopped if you want a move.

We as fans might become depressed when we see departures of our best players, but this also makes it possible to sign talents such as Soumare, Daka and Fofana who are recent examples of fantastic talent that made their move to this football club.

The young forward Jacob Wakeling will get a loan chance at Barrow moving to the club for the rest of the season. He could get his debut for the League 2 club on Saturday.

With the move of Benkovic this would free up a place in the squad and we will see if any players will join or if Brendan Rodgers decides to wait a bit longer and towards the end of the window to see if players could come available.

Tottenham and Newcastle will probably be considering changes as we have earlier reported on, and with changes coming later in the window, Leicester might wait a while after missing out on other players earlier on. Former fox Chris Wood has left Burnely and joined Newcastle.
