Rumours on Twitter this morning, Brendan Rodgers will be sacked with an announcement of it all in the evening. So far no news, but you can never talk away results which is the only measurement in football.
Leicester are sliding down in form almost in the same tempo as in an Olympics Bobsleigh track. No wins so far this year and just 4 wins out of the last 19 games, it surely looks grim for Brendan Rodgers.
To see another mad result appear when Leicester are in the lead and the manager taking action to make changes that works against his ambition to secure a win, and instead upsetting balance and seeing major points dropped, will not be tolerated for much longer.
The pay and backing Brendan Rodgers gets from owners are massive but results are far from good enough and also seeing players the club wants to keep just overlooking the proposals and contract offers they get will over time tire out owners as no progress is seen.
There are reports about this being a false message and that Brendan Rodgers will be in charge for the upcoming Europa Conference League fixture vs. Randers taking place on Thursday.
We have seen in the past that the owners at Leicester can be ruthless when they see no progression and actually at this moment we do not have any progression at all and those inside the camp knows the best.
To see the odds being dropped heavilly and at this moment down to 9/4 for Brendan Rodgers to be sacked and also seeing odds coming up on the next man to be appointed.
TCF is in the boat looking at this as a situation to be fixed and would like Brendan Rodgers to continue, but totally understand a sacking decission as well, because he has not been able to get the Youri Tielemans new deal over the line and as well been in charge of a run at present that if it continues will end in a very bad way.
So far no official announcement but no doubt that this is a situation that will get a lot of attention and we will not be surprised if others are in charge for the Randers game on Thursday.
