The Athletic correspondent David Ornstein, is certain Youri Tielemans is keen on joining Arsenal, despite them missing out on Champions League action next season.

Tottenham is said to have more power regarding transfers this summer with a kitty of £150million to Antonio Conte’s disposal.

Leicester are also keen on getting this move over the line as fast as possible with the player himself reluctant to a further period. Youri has been brilliant for Leicester as his presence really was needed and at present no player to put in his position.

Sadly a number of Leicester fans believe that Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is a solution to every midfield challenge that this club have, but he is so far from Tielemans in play style that it’s like comparing moon and earth, both planets, but far from similar.

Tielemans pocess a certain quality that will be heavily missed when he leaves and hopefully Leicester will find someone to fill the gap and a midfield trio of Ndidi, Dewsbury-Hall and Maddison will not be the same, sorry.

There are players out there to bring in, but we will certainly see Brendan Rodgers and the club starting their search for their ideal signing, but to get a good enough replacement for the Belgian international will be a tall order.

The rumour about Youri Tielemans joining Real Madrid looks to have vanished as Mirror do have another report saying Youri Tielemans looks to join Spurs.
