Christian Fuchs joined Leicester as a free agent from Shalke 04. He and many with him would probably not have believed what would happen during his six seasons at the club and what was achieved during those years.
Leicester made massive progress in the days of Fuchs and at first he also had a very influencial impact in the team as a steady left back, but had to see his place being taken over by Ben Chilwell.
Funny enough Christian Fuchs stayed on and played his role to perfection. Brendan Rodgers and Claude Puel never played the former Austrian captain on a regular basis but valued him highly as a squad member and alternative player.
In total Fuchs played 116 league games and scored 2 goals. He was one of few to be part of FA Cup and Premier League glory as he picked up both medals before moving on.
He had up on moving to Leicester been a player at Mattersburg, Wiener Neustadt, Bochum and Schalke 04, and also inlfuncial for Austria, playing a total of 78 times for his country, scoring one.
Christian Fuchs and Shinji Okazaki joined at the same time, both coming in from German football and they build a friendly relationship as they took on the callenge of representing Leicester.
Fuchs move to the States in front of last season and at present in play for Charlotte FC in the MLS.
