Claudio Ranieri travelled to Norway and Oslo this week to be a guest speaker at the yearly football conference “Cupfinaleseminaret”. He was together with Marcelo Bielsa as the two main attractions.

Leicester fan and chairman of the Scandinavian Supporters Club, Per Arne Hansen, got his lifetime chance to meet up with Claudio, as a fellow accountancy made the happening possible.

Claudio Ranieri was, as we expected, the true gentleman, giving Per Arne a number of minutes to speak with him at his dinner table. Ranieri was of course curious of the connection to Leicester and asked why he had such great passion for Leicester.

This topic is often a surprise for people not knowing the fantastic support English football clubs have in Norway and also in other Scandinavian countries. Per Arne told Claudio about his passion and life support for Leicester City.

Claudio did also sign a number of Leicester City shirts for Per Arne, one taken with him home as a treasure, the two others going on auction at the seminar.

Fantastic to see how Norway did attract two of the most known managers in the World. Ranieri and Bielsa, iconic father figures of football, really made the day for a grand audience of football passionate people.

Again great bonding among the Leicester City family, as the club take tradition and pride with them far out in places you would surely not believe this fantastic football club have many burning hearts.
