Leicester were close to getting the signature of Jermie Boga in August, but the move never happened as it was believed that time was too short to get everything sorted.
Jeremie Boga is a player brought up in the Chelsea academy and still not more than 25 years of age, so plenty of time to get his career back on track.
He has previously spent time on loan at Granada, Rennes and Birmingham and joined Italian club Sassoula in 2018. His time at Sassoulo was a success and the young french born player had a number of good seasons at Mapei Stadium.
He first joined Atalanta on loan in January 2022 and his talent was attracting several clubs in England including Leicester. The fact that Leicester came so close to a move in August makes them favorites to land Jeremie Boga in January, as he might be looking for a fresh start somewhere else.
Leicester are not the only chaser of Jeremie Boga with also Fiorentina said to be a team ready to make a move. If Boga is looking for a certain starting position, he might be trying his luck in Serie A with Fiorentina.
