TCF reported on David Datro Fofana back in September, as we described the highly talented forward as a potential player for Leicester to look at. We knew back then that Molde might be willing to let the player leave for a price of £9million or more.

Norwegian football is in progress, with several teams able to compete in Europe, reaching group stages of those tournaments. To see players from this league attract the top tiers of european football is of course great news. Molde did win the Norwegian Leauge this season, but still a transfer fee in this region will not be turned down.

Brighton are said to be favorites to land Fofana, but still there could be other clubs out there ready to come in, if the player himself is eager to get a chance elsewhere and prefer another desitination.

19 year old David Datro Fofana joined Molde in 2021 and has this season played 37 games and scored 21 goals. He is a pacy forward and one that can win games on his own. Still very young and possibly one player that will be among the best in his trade in a few years .

Fabrizio Romano has reported on the matter and believe Brighton are far in their talk with Molde. believe that negotiations are on with Brighton. Little or nothing reported in Norway about Fofana and a possible exit, as they also make quotes to the Romano message.

He is a fantastic player and would fit Leicester and their type of football as the club tends to bring in younger, talented players. Fofana operates in all forward positions and used to play in a three men attack. He is relatively tall at 1.81m, and one fun fact to add is that he is currently living in the same apartment as Erling Braut Haaland when he was a player at Molde.
