Leicester had it all in their own hands as they played Brighton away in the last game of the season, and knowing they would be save by winning this game.

Willie Kirk has since his arrival managed to bring a better mental attitude into the group and this result away shows it all, as one goal was enough settling the 0-1 score.

Reading who were rock bottom had to take on Chelsea, and that was a task too much as The Royals got relegated being trashed 3-0. Chelsea secured their top position and a double act in place as they also took home the cup.

17 year old Ava Baker came on for Hannah Cain after 67 minutes and scored the winner. This shows the real way forward as the as this young talent gets game time and making her 9th appearance in WSL this season

This will be a major boost for the women project as this team looks to have a base of talent and experience that could see them push for a higher position next season, hopefully.

Willie Kirk has been in charge since January and with Emile Heskey pushing on we do have a grand duo who knows how to take steps in the correct direction.
