Leicester do have a grand job in front as they intend to secure two promotion and progress with the women team in the WSL. We have allready heard about the 7 players released from the mens first team and Willie Kirk decided to let 12 from the women team leave for free.
Molly Pike, Natasha Flint and Kirstie Levell are all on this list of released players. The others are, Jess Sigsworth, Abbie McManus, Connie Scofield, Jemma Purfield, Ellen Jones, Georgia Eaton-Collins, Charlie Devlin, Lachante Paul and former club captain Sophie Barker.
Despite keeping their place in the top flight, Leicester had a troubled season, sacking head coach Lydie Beckford, appointing Willie Kirk in mid-season. Leicester had a terrible start and just saved their place in the WSL in the last game of the season, on behalf of bottom team Reading, ending 10th also having Brighton behind them in this league of 12 teams.
Leicester came up to the top for the first time two seasons ago, avoiding the drop with minor margins and to avoid this next season and hopefully be able to secure a better position, new players must be added to the squad.

Among those leaving, several have been out on loan to make space for new recruits such as Janina Leitzig and Courtney Nevin, both coming in on loan and staying on if the club can get agreements in place to settle the situation.
Willie Kirk has a grand standing in women football with a former life as head coach of Hibernian, Everton and Bristol City as well as being the assistant manager at Man Utd and Preston. The 44 year old scot, will hopefully be able to push the buttons needed to get the squad in shape for a better position next season.
There are also a number of interesting additions to the male development squad and the academey teams, as we have taken a look on those players coming in and looking at possible departure, more on this, enter here
