For some time we have seen Conor Coady linked with Leicester and today we can believe this deal will go through and welcome the England defender to Leicester.

Coady was expected to be joining, but still a surprise to see him in before Zack Steffen, who looked more or less given with his connections to Enzo Maresca from before.

Leicester do look to be able to attract great quality players and surprised to see Conor Coady joining as he probably could have joined a Premier League club, but still fantastic to see it happen.

This move could again trigger a possible sale of Wout Faes and question the future of Jannik Vestergaard and Jonny Evans, surely being convinced he (Coady) will be a player in a starting line-up.

He had a bit of trouble to get a starting position at Everton after joining Toffees on loan from Wolves last season. He has so far played 10 times for England and at 30 probably options were not ideal as a Championship club could get his signature.

Conor Coady has a lot to prove after being more or less left out of the starting eleven from the time Sean Dyche arrived at Goodison Park and saved the club from relegation. Coady played 25 times for Everton in all competitions, being in the line up for the final day vs. Bournemouth, but not valued by Dyuche as a possible permanent addition being allowed to return to Wolves, who has agreed a deal with Leicester for a fee of £8.5 million in total this latest news suggest.
