Watching from the stands, being present at the game at St. Andrews yesterday, between Birmingham City and West Bromwich Albion, made an interesting watch
Always fun to explore and watch other teams, as rival players can impress and be someone to value and look for as you go forward.
Despite being 1-0 down esrly on, Birmingham came back and took all three points with an impressive 3-1 win.
One player that impressed and had a splended performance was Birmingham City captain Dion Sanderson. The 23 year old scored the 2-1 goal, a great header from close range. He also had a calm approach and looked comfotable on the ball, just easy and simple, pure quality.
Sanderson made his move from Wolves this summer, signing a four year deal in a £2,3million transfer, earlier being on loan at St. Andrews in two different periods.
Alongside him in the Birmingham team he had Japanese attacker Koji Miyoshi, as the two stood out as the most interesting players in The Blues team. Gary Gardner (31) is still going strong and his well placed free kick settled the scoreline in the 87th minute, as The Blues strongly won the local derby 3-1.
Dion Sanderson strangely left Wolves without being involved in Premier League action, earlier having loan spells at QPR, Sunderland and Cardiff City. So far a total of 102 league games played, with 4 goals to count.
