Boba Soumare looks to have found his place in the Sevilla team, playing in a deep midfield role. Soumare looks to find the rythm with other midfielders, Ivan Rakitic (Croatia) and Djibril Sow (Switzerland), playing alongside the two top internationals. So far Mahrez is the one having the best position, as Al-Ahli are 3rd. Al-Ettifaq are in 7th position. Al-Ittihad are currently 5th, as they are all fighting behind high flying Al-Hilal, the club of Neymar.
Lewis Brunt played the full game for Mansfield as they defeated Salford away. A great 2-1 win do see The Stags in 3rd place at present. Brunt looks as key player for Nigel Clough being fielded from start in 10 league gams so far.
Harrison Panayioutou (29) joined Gibraltar club Bruno’s Magpies in front of this season, so far scored 2 goals in 7 games for his new club. Panayioutou has grand stats from his time with Leicester, scoring 1 goal in 1 game, having a 100% record.
Papy Mendy last week criticized Brendan Rodgers for the treatment he received from the time the two worked together at Leicester. Mendy left it late to make a decission on his future, but finally decided on joining RC Lens. He will with this move be involved in the French top flight as well as being able to play Champions League.
George Hirst is flying high with Ipswich Town, being 2nd in the Championship table just behind Leicester on goal difference. So far 4 goals in 15 league appearances, being in action this weekend vs. Swansea, scoring the 3rd goal for Ipswich in the 3-2 home win at Portman Road.
Callum Wright came on as a sub in the 1-2 home defeat to Leeds. Wright came on in the 75th minute, being involved in The Pilgrims goal scored in the 84th minute. Jeffrey Schlupp scored the opening goal for Crystal Palace in their 2-0 away win to Burnley. He was also on the field in the last home match vs. Everton, being defeated 3-2, Schlupp left the field after 67 minutes, being 2-1 down. Michael Keane was an unused sub in the same match.
Kasper Schmeichel had to see one ball pass him in Anderlecht’s last game, getting a 1-1 draw away to Gent. Anderlecht are currently 2nd in the table 6 points behind leaders USG. Shinji Okazaki was an unused sub for St. Truiden in their 3-3 draw away to Westerloo. St. Truiden are currently 8th in the Jupiler league. Richie de Laet left the field in the 80th minute, playing for Antwerpen vs. Standard Liege, winning 6-0. Kamal Sowah played for Standard Liege. Antwerpen are currently 5th in the table.
OH Leuven are in 14th position of the Jupiler League. Former Brighton and Watford manager Oscar Garcia was earlier in the month announced as new head coach, seeing his team losing the first two games. Suphanat Mueanta played his 2nd game for OH Leuven in the recent 1-3 away defeat to Genk, coming on as a sub in the 72nd minute. Nathan Opuku is also back in the line-up, playing from start vs. Genk and coming on in the prior match vs. Westerloo.
Matthew James played the full game for Bristol City in their 0-0 draw away to QPR. The Robins are currently 11th in the Championship table. Calvin Bassey and Timothy Castagne both played from start in Fulham’s 3-1 away defeat to Aston Villa. Youri Tielemans made his first start for Aston Villa in the same game, playing the full game in a wide role out left.
Daniel Amartey started for Besiktas in their 1-0 home win to Istanbul Basaksehir. Amartey came on as a sub in the 1-2 home defeat in Europa Conference League vs. Bodo Glimt. Rachid Ghezzal came on as a sub in the match vs. Basaksehir. Cengiz Ünder came on as a sub for Fenerbahce in their 0-0 away draw to Adana Demirspor. Besiktas are currently 5th in the table, Fenerbahce in 2nd place.
