We all really cannot understand how Brendan Rodgers made a late mess out of his time at Leicester, struggling to find a good pattern and also having a number of challenges with his players, not willing to tie down their futures under him.

Kasper Schmeichel is on board at Celtic, coming in on a free transfer, taking over the gloves from Joe Hart who decided to retire after last season. We all know it is just pre-season and all players are not back in action at Chelsea, and still further away from a season start than Celtic, but to be defeated 4-1 makes the story difficult to defend for Enzo Maresca.
Following up on his different changes done at Chelsea, also having difficulties against League One club Wrexham, with a certain Lewis Brunt, in their starting line-up, getting a 2-2 draw might not have been what he was looking for, anyway, we do see this a bit extraordinary.

Enzoball looks difficult at Chelsea in the start as it did at Leicester, and still no Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall in action. Kasper Schmeichel played 73 minutes for Celtic, keeping a clean sheet. Wesley Fofana played the first half for Chelsea, Ben Chilwell was not in play and an unused sub.
Celtic defeated Man City in their previous pre-season game, 2-1, as well as hammering DC United 4-0. They are in the Champions League this season, so everything looks fantastic for Brendan Rodgers at the moment. But he also had his stumbles and elevator ride, as their opening pre-season game ended in a 1-1 draw vs. Ayr United.
