Leicester will, as we reported earlier, be very busy towards the end of the transfer window, closing deals in and out to get the best possible squad available for the rest of the season.
The first exciting news is the fact that Leicester looks to have sealed the move for Genk midfielder Bilal El Khannouss. The move is a definate one as another young prospect with full international experience join the ranks.
This will give Steve Cooper opportunities to build a belief around and exciting top group of players, that can manage to compete over a season at Leicester as the squad looks to take shape in a form we would like to see.
A loan move to Dundee FC for young midfielder Sammy Braybrooke is confirmed. The 20 year old will of course add great experience in this move playing in the Scottish Premiership is a huge step up from U.21 football. Looks a good move for the England U.20 international.
Tom Cannon and Bouba Soumare both absent for Carabao Cup squad today, as the duo looks to be heading out on moves. Soumare has lately been seen as a potential player for Monaco, but still the parties are a bit out of process as Leicester would only be interested in a full move, the player at Monaco might be eager to get a loan and a possible obligation to buy. Tom Cannon has a number of options to chose from. The race for the Republic of Ireland full international looks to be between Sheffield United, Stoke and Sunderland, as Norwich has withdrawn.
Bristol City is said to be interested in a loan for Ben Nelson, who was also left out of the Carabao Cup squad this evening, possibly on the verge of a potential loan move. Marcal Madivadua was not seen either, potentially on the verge of a loan move, with Wales U.21 international, Chris Popov, making his debut in this game.
We are not surprised if Leicester do make a late move for one more player at the very end of the window, if that opportunity comes around, either a loan or a permanent move for a player that is willing to join and if Leicester find it suitable.
