Leicester are not just monitoring their first team players. They also have a long list of names in the youth and development department to act on. A group of young players will be leaving this summer.

Brandon Cover is one of the players to value. He has this season performed at League Two level with Port Vale and Fleetwood. A total of 31 games for the two club, scoring 2 goals. He has allready played at full international level for Jamaica and can play in midfield and at right back. He will be out of contract after the season.

Arjan Raikhy and Oli Ewing are two others who will be out of contract after the season. Both players have dropped down to non-league football this season. Raikhy being at Tamworth, Ewing playing for Buxton. They are two players with a potential, but likely to leave Leicester. Ewing has been capped at Wales U.21 level and has a good presence.

Silko Thomas is a player that also can be on the move. He has been in good form for Wigan. He returned to Leicester with injury. Thomas played 24 league games for The Latics this season, being impressive. His contract is up and he looks to leave Leicester.

Leicester are desperate to keep their top youth assets. Jeremy Monga has been introduced to first team action. He has shown what he is all about. According to sources close to the club the attacking starlet has allready agreed terms with Man City. Clubs not able to secure Premier League football will recognize this as a major threat. They see the top clubs of football chasing their young best assets. Leicester had to see Trey Nyoni being tempted to join Liverpool, Monga is much the same.

Amani Richards, Will Alves, Sammy Braybrooke, Ben Nelson, Nathan Opoku and Louis Page are other promising young players with an uncertain future. Richards, Braybrooke, Nelson and Opoku are players with a certain potential but coming to an age that makes it difficult to wait much longer for a major breakthrough in the first team. Young midfielder Page knows his worth. He is an England prospect at youth level. The club must prepare a plan in place to keep him progressing.

Jake Evans is also reported to be on a list of targets at Spurs and Man Utd. The 16 year old is not in a situation that Leicester will not receive a transfer fee. We do believe it will be a move that could happen with £15million said to be the price.
