As earlier posted on this website, Asmir Begovic becomes the first signing for Leicester this summer. He joins on a free after his release from Everton after last season.
Begovic used to play under Marti Cifuentes at Queens Park Rangers. He was at Loftus Road when Marti arrived, to help him achieve good results in that 2023/24 season. He played 45 league games this only season at QPR.
The move for Begovic (38) looks as a cover solution for Jacub Stolarczyk. Stolarczyk is expected to be first choice, but with Begovic a cover for him. Begovic has signed a one year deal.
Leicester looks to be parting company with Mads Hermansen. Hermansen has not yet featured in pre-season games. It is no secret that the player is a target for Premier League clubs.

We believe advanced talks between West Ham and Leicester are taking place to solve the transfer of Mads Hermansen. Leicester are looking for a fee in the region of £35million. West Ham might be more eager to pay £20million. We just have to wait and see were this lands.
Sad to see Mads Hermansen leave, but with Stolarczyk and Begovic at the club, Leicester do have other worries in other areas to solve.
