Leicester have seen players leaving so of course emotional every time someone departs. We will most certainly see more players out the door. The squad size is still to tall in numbers. Still not slimmed down enough to add new players. Then to see Hamza Choudhury’s performance last night was emotional.
He had the captains armband and had his briliant moment. His volley shot was wonder fantastic as it climbed into the goal, giving Leicester the lead. He is an homegrown player. Love to see him having this moment.
He seldom score and also been very much a fringe man for the club under different managers. No one has really given him the trust he deserves. He was like a Pink Panther yesterday, showing class in it’s colour.
If you didn’t know, The Pink Panther is a fictional cartoon character. In films storyline, the “Pink Panther” is the name of a valuable pink diamond. Named for a flaw that shows a “figure of a springing panther”. This is when held up to the light in a certain way. In the credits, the diamond is personified by an animated, anthropomorphic panther with pink fur.
Looking at the stats from the game, Hamza got 7,1 points. Sofascore rated him the third best Leicester player on the field. Only Jacub Stolarczyk and Luke Thomas getting higher grades. He was placed on right back this time, but can also play as a central defender or as a defensive midfielder. Believe he is the best option as the defensive alternative in a midfield trio. His tackling is world class and up there along the best. He is almost impossible to get around. Therefore, seeing him in there instead of Soumare or Skipp would be preferable.

We have not seen the best of Hamza Choudhury. He has done well in recent loan spells at Sheffield United and Watford. He is also a trusted captain for his new manager, so no reason to fault him at all.
He was overlooked vs. Sheffield Wednesday, being lively and in good form vs. Fiorentina. We would like to see him more in the team. A bit unfortunate vs. Huddersfield, but showing enough to get a good run in the first team. It is certainly not negative that he also attracts a great number of fans from his new country, Bangladesh.
