Earlier described the PSR and FFP regulations and understanding as tricky for both parties. The EFL changed their rules and regulations in April. There are also difficulties to judge the different clubs coming up and down between two seperate league organisations.
We have earlier described this scenario and believe Leicester will not get any punishment and no points deductions. This was also the case last season. The negative fans of the club should stop talking. Experts trying to be smart should also remain silent.
There are different club fan blocks or branches. They try to act as a united group or some type of spokesmen for the supporters. These groups like to be seen as the master voice in a conversation with the club. They claim to speak on behalf of the Leicester fanbase.
None of them can document any type of grand following. Leicester fans mostly operate alone. They have a membership in one or maybe two groups. However, so far this is not a united voice at all. If you look at some of these branches or type of people, they should rather potentially start supporting another club.
This is a professional football club. They do everything with the best intention. Sometimes a player signing or a manager appointment goes wrong, but that looks to happen at other clubs too. If you look at the history of a football club, you will understand the situation. A lot of it has to do with geography and location, also having relational aspects to understand. Leicester will never be shining at the top of the football pyramid constantly. That can occur when there is a special generation of players. However, the dynamics of the game will be challenging for a club like Leicester.
The main focus must be to base the build on players from their own area. There are a good culture for bringing forward talent of high quality in the Midlands. This must never be faulted. Sometimes a manager will be eager to recruit players he knows from previous experiences. He might also look to places he considers a good recruitment base.
This happened under the leadership of Jimmy Bloomfield. He often traveled to London. There, he brought in recruits from clubs where he knew people and could trust them. Jock Wallace brought a number of players in from Scotland. Peter Taylor recruited his friend Junior Lewis. Craig Levein had a love for Hearts and went back to get Kisnorbo, DeVries and Maybury.
There will also be heavy challenges at some part and especially when a team is in transition. This has been a major problem for Leicester. It is also an issue for all teams that are below the top six.

The geographical location of Leicester affects their appeal to players with families from abroad. Sometimes, they are not the top priority. These players may be more drawn to the bigger cities and life in that environment.
The life of football is now very transparent. Agents play a certain part. The only thing you have control over is your own base of talents at your academy. Sometimes they trigger different buttons too early. They may vanish if they decide to move to another more famous club too soon.
Blaming Leicester DOF, Jon Rudkin, for every wrong doing shows lack of understanding. Leicester are not in the strawberry business and cannot grow new berries in five minutes, when some are sold on. Looking at the job done at Leicester over the last 10 years, there is not much to criticize.
This season is not about new signings. The job is to get as many as possible out. This will create space for the younger generation. Ben Nelson, Olabade Aluko, Will Alves, Louis Page and Jeremy Monga are players pushing for a place in the starting eleven. Michael Golding is a shining talent, he is also in there to fight. There are many more players to consider. We all know their abilities.
Leicester are said at this moment to be working constructively with the EFL. They aim to bring themselves to a financial situation that will satisfy both parties. That is the main purpose and should always be. Hopefully a long term understanding that their academy must and shall be the major recruitment base.
Fans often call on new players. This happens even when there are more than 30 players in the squad. These fans are just voicing a lack of understanding.
Marti Cifuentes will guide Leicester through, believe in him. He will do business when he needs to and have a player he values for a certain job. Understanding and knowing the value of what you have is crucial. This is far more important than trying to bring in new faces.
Leicester will sell either Caleb Okoli or Wout Faes before the transfer window close. Victor Kristiansen is also one we believe will depart. There are also other players to consider as a selling asset. This will only happen if a good replacement is found inside the camp or able to recruit.
