Marti Cifuentes made no changes from the stellar performance vs. Ipswich. The reaction from getting the backing from the manager is just shocking. Leicester were 1-0 down after two minutes play.

QPR came out in a straight 4-4-2 formation, full of power. This strategy made everything very difficult for Leicester. A double block against Mavadidi and Fatawu took all air out of the Leicester balloon.

Leicester tried, but a more energic QPR, made the day a nightmare with goal number two after 29 minutes. Then just four minutes later it was time for 3-0. It was difficult to watch this as Leicester just looked awful.

This was the same team that played Ipswich off the floor seven days ago. The problem is easy to see, as individuals just crack totally at times. The team lack quality and leadership when things are going against.

Just as the first half to end, the nightmare becomes even worse. QPR scores a fourth goal just as the first half is about to finished. This is a dark moment and what a horror return to Loftus Road for Marti Cifuentes.

No changes made for second half, but it equaled out as we had expected. Marti Cifuentes decides to make the changes after 63 minutes. Silko Thomas, Hamza Choudhury and Aaron Ramsey are coming on. Again changes makes a difference, as Leicester makes progress.

Then we get Jeremy Monga on the field after 73 minutes and the game change even more. He is a player that brings uncertainty and fear. His play, possession making, and movement make him unpredictable.

We have emphasized numerous times that Leicester absolutely need Jeremy Monga on the field. He must play every minute. His quality is far above every other player in this league and division. He is a star in the making. Marti Cifuentes must bring him into his team. This will create specials and get a momentum needed in this team. He can hold the ball and also bring himself forward with pace and technical ability.

Leicester are rewarded with a penalty after 82 minutes. Bobby De Cordova-Reid hit the post, but Silko Thomas scores on the rebound. Great for the Leicester youngster to score.

Second half becomes a momentum for Leicester. They score the only goal. Again sad to see the players getting the managers backing after a solid performance vs. Ipswich totally fall to the ground in this match.

Still only four points away from a play-off position. Marti should get a chance to restore the failures from this game. Get the January transfer window and hopefully sort this out. Leicester looked on a good track, hopefully this was one day not happening again, as it looked awful first half.

    • Coming back second half, scoring the only goal
    • Jeremy Monga back in action, Silko Thomas scoring
    • Aaron Ramsey back in action, nice to see him back
    • Leicester having most possession
  • Negatives
    • Not really having a plan to play a team blocking in pair out wide, QPR playing a 4-4-2
    • Playing long balls and through the middle is the formula in early stages of the game if you see your team struggling, not going on with the tiki taka rubbish that simply don’t work if the players are not up to it, against an aggressive opponent
    • Jordan James taken totally out of the game, a difficult and poor performance from the Wales international
    • Players not really doing the work needed in this game as too many one to one duels are lost
    • Marti Cifuentes not really looking prepared as QPR just ran over Leicester first half
    • No penetration alternatives when Fatawu and Mavididi are taken out
