Merseyside Loan Move Confirmed, Brighton Defender Linked, Former Leicester Target In Emirates Move

Jayden Joseph will extend his stay at Tranmere until the end of the season. Nathan Opoku has agreed to the same as he will stay at Newport.

Louis Page, Jeremy Monga and Silko Thomas are three players, more or less involved in every Leicester game at the moment. Jake Evans, Olabade Oloku and Marcal Madivadua are also among youngsters being involved in first team affairs.

Sammy Braybrooke is another player who can find life at another club. Nothing concrete is known regarding his current situation. He is said to have left Newport to explore other options in higher league tiers.

Will Alves is back at Leicester after his loan spell at Huddersfield was cut short with an injury. He is recovering but it looks unlikely that he will be returning to join The Terriers for a new spell.

Last season Brendon Cover had loan spells at Port Vale and Fleetwood. He has played in the U21 team this season and is believed to be staying on as an important member. He has earlier also been involved in first team affairs but not this season.

Michael Golding is another player from the U21 side. Last season, he got his full debut in the Premier League. So far, he has not been seen in any first team action this season.

Leicester do have an option to sign a new central attacker. Michail Antonio has been training with the club, but so far no news about a contract being drawn up. Christian Benteke was linked with Leicester in the summer transfer window. However, he will not join. He has made a deal with Al Whada in The Emirates.

There are no direct and fast moving transfers to report about at the moment. Wout Faes and Harry Winks are both players we believe Leicester are eager to transfer out, but no clubs are concretely linked with these two players. Abdul Fatawu has been linked with Napoli and Bournemouth. We will just wait and see what happens.

Bouba Soumare and Victor Kristiansen are both sidelined at the moment. There is no concrete return date for them. Therefore, clubs will be reluctant to a transfer. Caleb Okoli has been linked with Cremonese, but that is said to have been blocked by Leicester. Woyo Coulibaly has not made too much impact at Sassuolo, and a return to Leicester has been discussed.

A rumour linked Brighton defender Eiran Cashin with a move to Leicester. This was two weeks ago, but nothing has happened so far. Cashin has struggled to get game time for The Seagulls since joining from Derby.
