A number of different names have occurred as potential Leicester signings. Bouba Soumare seems likely to stay. There is no clearity regarding Harry Winks and his close future. Therefore, the club has an opportunity to look at their academy players, to fill in.
Louis Page is a player who needs to be trusted more. To go out and sign Kieran Dowell looks totally stupid as he would not cement a place in Leicester’s line-up. To continue to buy or loan players who are not considered obvious starters makes no sense at all.
To see the name Fer Lopez being linked is a different ball game. If he is available go after him straight away. He has not been utilized the way he should at Wolves. This is a player who can excite fans. He can become a fan favourite at Leicester if that move happens, either on loan or permanent. He is perfect in that attacking midfield role. The 21 year old would be a splended addition.
Another is Lorenz Hutchinson from the academy. There are strange priorities at Leicester at the moment. Maybe the manager and his staff are blinded at this point. Overlooking this man and not having him as a bench option raises questions. With the struggles up front in the first team, you start to wonder what is going on.

We do believe Marti Cifuentes should be calm and look at his academy as the main recruitment area. If he has doubts about a player, he should avoid wasting wages. It would not help anyone if a new player just fills the numbers.
