We have at this moment few or no special information about who will be the next Leicester manager. The fact that odds are smashed to the very bottom on Darren Ferguson is a bit difficult to understand. He can be a good fit in League One, but never been successful at a higher level.

Last week Scott Parker became available after being sacked by Burnley. Believe he has been interviewed for the Leicester job in the past. He would be a perfect candidate. The former Bournemouth and Fulham manager could look at this as a chance to put his special mark on this from a lower starting point. Build it up from scratch and draw it all out for further progression in coming seasons.

To move down two tiers would be a bold move. The potential at Leicester is huge. The chance to start a project from scratch should be one major positive. There will be clubs out there looking for Scott Parker, so to see him join Leicester at this point could be a difficult one, but counting potential, he should not count out Leicester.

In the past we have not seen many clubs at League One level appointing high profile managers who have their eyes on other projects, looking up clubs such as Southampton, Forest, Leeds and several others who have been down at this level at some point. All of them more or less appointing people who have been in and around this level in previous jobs.

Time will show who will be the next Leicester manager. If that had been Scott Parker, would have enjoyed such an appointment.

There will be, according to sources close to the club, a short list of candidates interviewed for the job. We do believe it will not take too long for the decision to be made and that everything is sorted out by the end of May.
