A great conversation between two of the best players ever to wear a Leicester shirt. The former England and Leicester attacker, Gary Lineker, one of the top broadcasters in football, who has left the BBC and one of his occupations is to host the very special and great podcast, The Rest is Football.
This is a very special interview, watching these two heroes, sitting down to speak to each other. Gary Lineker has the inside knowledge, which is important when you are talking to someone like JV9. He has full respect for his host and his answers to the questions are interesting and brilliant.
You have obviously heard these stories before, but you never get tired of listening to it, as it becomes a bit different every time.
It’s impressive that he’s still playing at 39 and has a rolling contract for next season if his club, Cremonese, stays in Serie A. While some dream of a return to Leicester, it seems unlikely for now.
