We have not seen much information since Rene Hakè was put into the bowl yesterday. The only thing we can relate to is that Russell Martin is down to 20/1 to take over at Burnley. He is still on 5/4 to take over at Leicester.

There are of course different opinions on Russell Martin taking over at Leicester, but time is running out and to get someone in at this point looks good, waiting looks very negative.

Believe Russell Martin would be a good enough alternative for this job, he should be able to bring this team up again. To see this dragging out and not being done in the correct time frame, makes it difficult to accept.

There are people who want things to change and aren’t willing to accept the club’s current situation. They keep suggesting new options that lack substance, and are based on predictions without any evidence.

Everyone has an opinion and that is nice. There are a lot of Leicester fans being vocal and going online to express their negativity. We all know that a lot do not want anything to do with Russell Martin, and with that in mind, the man himself could chicken out.

Russell Martin has earlier been linked with clubs in Spain and Italy, but that has faded.

We all remember when every Leicester fan, possibly with little knowledge of football, did see the name Preki linked with the club, they believed this was a fictional character. So will it be another long wait, another search, new names in the hat, or could it end up as last season, bringing in a candidate that was not in the early running, but in the end what was available, hopefully not.

Leicester might be looking to high on upper shelves, were the Hake’s and Martin’s would consider working. To get a proper manager at League One level might be difficult.
