UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 is on. A number of Leicester players are involved. We have looked them all up as well as talking about some other facts on other players. Leicester looks to build a steady progress as they prepare for next season.
Leicester women finished their season in 10th position, having Brighton and Tottenham behind them in the WSL. 5 wins, 5 draws and 12 lossess to count, bringing home a total of 20 points. Well done job to keep their place in the top flight and hopefully progressing from their position next season. 40 year old, French, Amandine Miquel, was appointed manager last summer.
The women team is progressing season by season. Exciting to see young new talents getting games in the first team. Nelly Las (17) is one that has expressed herself this season, coming into the first team frame as well as playing regularly for England U19.
There are not just youngsters in this set up, balanced out correctly with loads of routine inside the camp. Goalkeeper Janine Leitzig. The 26 year old German international has a long career behind her, before joining Leicester from Bayern Munich in 2023.
