As TCF reported a few weeks back the tally of players linked with Leicester City is up to almost 40, and more are coming in, rumours!. We have a hot, cool and cold list updated with the latest thoughts, so you can check that one, but here are our thoughts on the transfers we believe will happen.
- Youri Tielemans, the move looks likely and will hopefully go through in the next week after the international break. Tielemans knows that signing for Leicester City is a step in the right direction and he will be a certainty in the team.
- Andros Townsend, is a player that would give Brendan Rodgers more options wide and hopefully bring in a player completing the Leicester team in the best way possible.
- Daniel Sturridge will be the ideal player to bring in alongside Townsend and Tielemans, then Rodgers have brought in the quality needed to step closer to the top six clubs. Sturridge would be starting and is ideal as he can move to the flank as well as partnering Vardy up front when needed.
We do believe that a move for James Justin from Luton also looks close, but that would probably be a message about Ricardo Pereira either joining Barcelona or Paris, which in a way is not unlikely.
Harry Maguire could still be on his way out, but Pep Guardiola does have a number of options in the center of defense, so it could be difficult to see him splashing out £90million on the England defender who had an outstanding game for England against Switzerland and scored controlled from the penalty shoot outs.
James Maddison either to Tottenham or Manchester United, can’t see him leaving that would be a massive blow and of course a player in demand, but don’t really see him leaving after just one season at Leicester City.
Islam Slimani and Adrien Silva looks like they will be moving out. Bartosz Kapustka, Fousseni Diabate and Caglar Soyuncu could also be on their way. We believe that Brendan Rodgers will look at his list of players and that this will be the 25 players starting the season at Leicester City,

This would mean that a lot of players will be leaving. No place for Diabate, King, James, Slimani, Soyuncu, Silva, Ghezzal and Josh Knight. We will have to wait and see how far of we will be.
