Seagulls on the runway, Leicester scouts in the south, the latest talk

TCF predicted to see a number signings getting over the line by now, but so far nothing has happened rather than Matty James, Wes Morgan and Christian Fuchs all being released. A number of players are also back from long loan spells and will be attending training when that starts.

Little about our hot targets at the moment as moves for Ryan Bertrand, James Tarkowski, Edsonne Edouard and Baubakary Soumare looks to drag out, though most reports suggest that these four players are those really in the frame.

But as we just wait for those whistles to blow we do look at other players seen linked with a move to Leicester City, and of course nice to see the name Yves Bissouma linked. The Mali international is a player that has shown last season that he can cope with any type of approach.

Graham Potter is a clever manager, fascinating to see how he has build a competitive squad at Brighton & Hove Albion, as the club has made a possible survival in the Premier League possible with clever moves in the transfer market.

Another player that chose to join Brighton & Hove Albion in front of last season was Belgian international Leandro Trossard. He is of course close to the trio from this nation currently playing at Leicester City. Trossard has joined Praet, Tielemans and Castagne as they prepare for the Euro’s.

Another player that has emerged as a great prospect over the last couple of seasons is Ben White, who at a stage last season was linked with Leicester City, but no move were made as the player has grown and progressed heavily after coming back from his loan spell at Leeds United.

Gareth Southgate included the young and talented defender in his squad for the Euro’s and strangely enough Brighton & Hove Albion have a player in that squad, Leicester City doesn’t have anyone, so a bit of a smile in the south probably.

We have seen how Graham Potter has brought his team forward and done his business carefully, just to say, impressed by Brendan Rodgers and his work, but all respect to the former Birmingham City defender as well, great work done after arriving from Swansea City and before that making an adventure possible in Sweden with Ostersund.
