Leicester in the market for a player to compare with £33million ace as money will not be thrown out on risky projects

To see news linking Leicester with Charles De Ketelaere might be thrilling but such a move will never happen and scouts watching Brugge in games against different opposition in CL or Belgian league games might not be just to watch the young Belgian international but other candidates

Jorgen Strand Larsen of Groningen is a player we mentioned earlier as a candidate to join as his price tag might be better suited for the market Leicester are looking in at the moment.

Brugge do play a number of very interesting opponents and surely Leicester will not put pen to paper to a transfer deal of £33million with Patson Daka, Kelechi Iheanacho, Ayoze Perez, Harvey Barnes and Jamie Vardy all on long term deals at the club. TCF would rather see money used wisely instaed of massive gambles as the job forward will be to find talent for lower fees.

Leicester did sign players from Le Havre and Manchester United reserves, Caen and Mainz as they really did a phenomenal job back in the days when money was not always available and they might return to that formula going forward.

OH Luewen is a sister club but so far not a single player have taken the step from this set up and into the Leicester first team, hopefully soon we will see such a move happen. At present we doubt it will be much of a market to look as the level of players are much lower. The other way around has been a good alternative for Leicester to give players a chance in OH Leuven. Sowah, Iversen, King, Benkovic, Eppiah, Moore and a number of other players did join and their time in Belgium did help them to gain fitness and join other clubs in football.

OH Leuven is at present in 10th position as they do move forward to establish themselves in the Belgian top flight, but still a bit behind Brugge after a 1-4 defaet. De Ketelaere scored the opener for Brugge and no surprise to see Leicester scouts at this event if they were present.

To sign players for heavy fees as has been done in the past and just send them out on loan is a risky and hopeless business model. Going forward Leicester cannot continue in that way.

The link to De Ketelaere might come from recent games vs. OH Leuven with the Belgian top forward scoring four goals in a total 8-2 smashing of the Leicester sister club over the two latest meetings.
