Almost back to basics as Caglar Soyuncu and Youri Tielemans both were named in the starting eleven. Also a return to the team for Ricardo Pereira, playing James Justin to the left, pushing Luke Thomas out.

A new juggling and instead of just keeping his best eleven and trying to build on the understanding between Amartey and Soyuncu they were both adjusting as West Ham used that as an advantage.

TCF had little or no hope for a win against a West Ham team at present in good shape and form. Hammers are currently fourth and still also competing in Europe, so they are a very difficult opponent.

Then to see Jarrod Bowen making the most of a defensive error in the Leicester defense after just 10 minutes play was no surprise. A great long pass from Diop to Bowen and him pushing forward and nicely placing the ball behind Kasper Schmeichel shows the quality of this Hammers team.

Leicester were 1-0 down early on. Again a game with a lot of ball possession for Leicester but little or no penetration. A lot of balls are played backwards and sideways with a few attempts from Harvey Barnes to push forward

Close to the end of first half Aaron Cresswell made a foolish mistake and used the ball hit his hand and a clear penalty to Leicester nicely converted from the spot by Youri Tielemans.

Leicester came out 2nd half with more energy and pushed for a new goal and when Ricardo Periera jumped up in the air like a big bird and scored with his head from that nice Harvey Barnes pass it was like we started again to believe it could that day of some hope for a win.

But when you start to believe a certain man on the bench becomes inpatient and wants to interfere in what is going on, making strange and hopeless decissions and why taking off James Maddison and replace with Ademola Lookman what is the purpose. A player that can hold the ball up is taken off and in comes one that is more offensive and with no defensive ability at all.

Youri Tielemans and Wilfred Ndidi managed to keep it safe in midfield despite this move from Brendan Rodgers but then in stoppage time this man on the bench decides again to make a fatal change, taking off Tielemans and with one of the worst performers this season, Jannik Vestergaard.

Just seconds after Vestergaard had been thrown in pressure is on again and strangely Craig Dawson is not marked and can go straight into the penalty box and push the ball over the line. The goal looked very much like a handball touching the arm, but VAR was not used and again shocking to look at all this mess.

With the defensive record letting in sloppy goals all the time, taking off probably Leicester’s best players Tielemans and Maddison lost the game again and stoppage time errors are seen and done by the man on the bench.

Leicester do have the worst record in PL at this moment and nothing is changing and tactical changes are ruining the rythm and play for Leicester.

To get one point was of course something to celebrate but in the way two points were lost you are again very dissappointed and sure that this type of management cannot continue as the man on the bench looks totally unbalanced regarding football related decission making.

Leicester will be up against Randers and Wolves next as the season continues. We will see what happens with the team, the man on the bench and everything else because this is a nightmare to watch as points are lost alone on wrong doings by staff.

  • Positives
    • Two goals scored
    • Great contribution from Ricardo Perieira
    • Harvey Barnes back to his old best and nice to see
    • Tielemans also showing a better form
  • Negatives:
    • Letting in two sloppy goals
    • Changes done by the man on the bench destroying the game
    • Football is easy and taking off the two best players to hold the ball up you will be punished
    • Losing two points in the end again as so many time before
    • Justin injured, hopefully we will get him back soon
    • VAR decision correct and of course bad for Leicester, but the arm is in a natural position
