Fantastic to see Ricardo Pereira signing a new contract lasting until 2026. This is wonderful news and really something to cherish as we have seen all the talk of players that are seeking other options.

Wilfred Ndidi is also one on a long term deal at the club and they are two fantastic players that shows how much this club is worth for them and how they would love success going forward.

James Maddison and Harvey Barnes are also a players of great impact and importance on long term deals with minor hope of Youri Tielemans also deciding on signing his contract.

Strange to see why certain players decide on staying and others would like their careers to continue elsewehere. Youri Tielemans looks to have closed the door and his dreams are likely to play for Real Madrid or Manchester United.

The commitment and desire that we do see when players decide to build their future at Leicester is so fatantastic and it makes Leicester fans very proud.

To see players come and go is of course natural in football, and to see Youri Tielemans leaving will be a massive blow as his presence is very important to the team. Without him it will be a gap that no player at the club can fill at this moment.

To see the new contract signed by Ricardo Pereira was just wonderful news and it will be great to see other players follow.

Eldin Jakupovic is the only player at present with a contract that runs out in the summer, but of course a number of players with contracts running out in the summer of 2023.

Leicester needs to plan for a situation without Jonny Evans, Jamie Vardy and Kasper Schmeichel but hopefully they will not leave all of them at the same time, reaching their contract end after next season finish.
