Leicester will split party with Tyrese Shade who spent this season on loan with Walsall. The 21 year old winger played 39 league games for The Saddlers and scored 2 goals. His contract was up at the end of the season and the former Solihull Morse recruit will not seek for new adventures in football. Walsall ended 16th in League Two.

Another player that has spent time out on loan this season is George Hirst and he is a target for Portsmouth as they are keen to make his move permanent. He ended 10th in League One with Pompey scoring 13 goals in 38 games.

There are of course on going talk about the exit of Youri Tielemans and what he will be up to as he has refused to sign a new deal. Tottenham and Arsenal are both seen as potential new clubs, but still believed to be most interested in joining Real Madrid.

Callum Hulme and Bailey Spencer-Adams are both on outgoing contracts and so far not signed any new forms as both players might look at other options. Other loan men such as Jacob Wakeling (Barrow) and Callum Wright (Cheltenham) are also players that would be no surprises if they were handed a chance to move on.

Khanya Leshabela who returned to Leicester in January from an unlucky loan spell at Shrewsbury has shown good form in the U.23 set up. He is also among players on an outgoing deal and he is also likely to move on and find football somewhere else. The 22 year old has been with Leicester since 2013 and at 22 not truly getting more time to prove himself and the U.20 South Africa international will of course be a player to consider for lower league clubs.

Jakub Stolarczyk and Vontae Daley-Campbell are both up in Scotland with Dunfirmline Athletic and Dundee. Not really put the World on fire with their clubs struggling to perform well in their divisions.

We could see a long list of players either released or sold among the U.23’s with a range of young talents coming up and already being played regularly with those loan players out and unavailable.

Leicester will also be listening to offers for goalkeeper Daniel Iversen who has spent another season on loan with Preston and done well pushing Kasper Schmeichel for that number one spot in the national team. To date Daniel Iversen has 16 U.21 caps and is seen as a very promising player, but still a risk that he will leave in the summer for a fee in the region of £5million.

Interesting days coming up soon as lists of released players will go public and we will probably also soon know the outfall of the transfer regarding Youri Tielemans.
