Still no decision regarding Youri Tielemans and his possible departure from Leicester this summer. There are talks about him leaving Leicester but to move out he needs a club that is willing to pay his wages.
The Belgian international is currently preparing for games vs. Poland and Wales after being an unusud sub vs. Netherlands.
Arsenal and Spurs are seen as the likely destinations for Youri Tielemans, but still no news about him going there, and reports today suggests that he could just look at the situation with ease and stay on until after the World Cup.
Leicester cannot do anything as long as Youri himself decides to look at options and as far as Brendan Rodgers is concerned he loves his midfielder and would play him week in and week out.
We have seen players doing the same playing on until the end of their contracts and just watering out everything. This is as we have seen at Man Utd with Paul Pogba and Burnley with James Tarkowski not leading to anything good as both parties has seen drop in form with players not really part of any future.
Why Youri is so eager to look at other options in his career and not honouring his manager and the club by signing a new deal is very strange. His situation with club and country and his move from Monaco to Leicester became a big success.
This season has not been ideal for Youri as his role in the team became a bit different and not giving him the freedom going forward as much as he did last year. The movement and skills of KDH has also watered out a bit of the role Tielemans had earlier as his type of play probably suits a midfield with him, Maddison and Ndidi more.
