Lately we have seen posts in our mail box from several fans talking up or down different players regarding transfers in and out. Looking at those posts coming in we just love to see alternatives such as Nicolas Pepe (Arsenal), Callum Hudson-Odoi (Chelsea) and Ismaila Sarr (Watford).
We all know that footballers do like new challenges with a short career on their hands. Sometimes the ideal scenario for a player can be seen but in real not be happening. The situation with Youri Tielemans needs to be sorted and space for a player or two to strengthen the first eleven is heavily needed.
The situation regarding transfers and how the football manager has his say in that run is not easy to understand as it looks a bit blurry at times. Agents, recruitment teams and different type of people looks to have important matters to work at before a manager even knows the outcome.
This is far from the days when Brian Clough turned up on your door step, slept in your garden or hijacked players from signing for other clubs turning up in a car park or at a train station, or even using flowers and Frank Sinatra to bring a transfer to bed.
Brendan Rodgers admits that moves out must happen before he can bring anyone in and hopefully those rumours seen about players on the way out can happen in some way and not see the club opening up on sales regarding their best assets, Fofana, Barnes, Maddison or Ndidi. Of course would have loved to see any type of agreement with Tielemans settled as well.
To bring in a player as a cemented flank alternative up front is something addressed with possible loan options as Nicoals Pepe (Arsenal) and Callum Hudson-Odoi (Chelsea) could be possible. Ismaila Sarr iis heavily linked with a move to West Ham and could be available for a fee of £25million.
We do believe that a move for Sarr only would be possible if other players on the books are sold and prices do reach a certain level, if not Watford and Sarr will see their alternatives elsewhere.
