Zakaria Aboukhlal is a player to take notice of. He was not the most known before the World Cup, but now he is facing France in the semi-final in Qatar. He has for a while been linked with a move away from his current club Toulouse.
The 22 year old flank midfielder is seen as a possible addition at Leicester with the chase for him being one mentioned a few weeks back. Scoring against Belgium and coming on as a sub vs. Portugal made his presence important so far.
Zakaria has switched to Morocco from Holland as he has been part of the Dutch youth set up all up to U.21 level, making his debut at full level for his new nation in 2020. He has so far 14 caps to his name and 3 goals scored.
Talk of transfers will heat up in the weeks coming, and of course shining at the World Cup will see a number of players being hot stuff. Zakaria Aboukhlal will certainly belong to that category.
He has a past from PSV Eindhoven, but with just two first team appearances making a switch to AZ Alkmaar in 2019, doing well and being sold to Toulouse in front of this season.
He looks lightening and can also play up front as his goalscoring ability is well documented.
