Looking up the recent results and following the two U.21 games vs. Chelesa and Arsenal, one new face has appeared. Deniche Hill is one we did see make a few games during pre-season, but not seen since, but in December he was back to sign his first professional contract.

He showed during the summer that he could cope with this level and has since impressed and lovely to see him getting the chance at Leicester.

Deniche Hill is the son of Bermuda international Corey Hill, and has also made his full international debut in a game vs. Haiti back in June 2022. Hill came on in the 79th minute for his first full international.

Exciting to follow the route of the player that in many ways could follow in the footsteps of a former famous forward. Clyde Best. Best played for West Ham in the late 60’s and 70’s, and his presence at West Ham was massive.

Clyde Best played a total of 186 league games, scoring 47 goals as he many times visited Filbert Street and Leicester. Later an important player for Portland Timbers, also representing Feyenord and Toronto Blizzard among his clubs in a career lasting from 1968 to 1984.

Deniche Hill signed his full professional contract with Leicester in December and hopefully will take the steps towards a chance in the first team if and when he is ready. A new full international arrival at the club has not been addressed much, but still making the starting line-up vs. Chelsea U.21 and later coming on from the bench vs. Arsenal U.21.
