What next for Jakub Stolarczyk as Leicester carefully make decision on the future of the Poland U.21 international

Jakub Stolarczyk (22) is under contract at Leicester until 2026 and surely a player the club would like to develop to become a contender for the first team gloves.

In previous seasons he has shown his best in the U.21 team as Leicester have survived in PL2. The move to Dunfirmline last term was also a succcess and when getting his few opportunities in the Fleetwood first team, he showed his qualities.

His last experience at Fleetwood, being in the team defeating QPR in the 3rd round of the FA Cup, makes a good farewell message. The decision at this time is to decide if Stolarczyk is to stay at the club and help the club secure the PL2 status for next season, as the team is struggling, but maybe not at the goalkeeper position, having both Arlo Doherty and Chituru Odunzu and it would probably be more fun for Stolarczyk to move out loan.

A number of clubs could be interested in Stolarczyk and maybe Kolo Tourè will be back at Leicester to try to bring him in on loan as Wigan probably needs to look at several positions during this January transfer window.

Jakub Stolarczyk made a good impression in action of Dunfirmline Athletic last season and moving up north could of course be another option and probably a chance to play in SPL for the rest of the season could be tempting.

So far no concrete news or interest seen for the tall shot stopper. Will be interesting to follow the route of one of the most exciting goalkeepers in English football.
