We have seen more movement and talk regarding new players at Leicester today, with Victor Kristiansen close to a completed deal. Lyon loan man Tetè is said to be on the radar. The player currently on loan from Shakhtar Donetsk is one that is said to be the next in the chase as Gonzalez from Fiorentina never became a real deal, despite Leicester said to have tabled a bid of £35million.

Tetè joined Lyon on loan in March 2022 and has since played 28 league games and scored 8 goals in Ligue 1. He is a player that would be perfect for Leicester and we will just wait and see what will happen.

Leicester looks to be ready to make a bid of £25million to land the Brazilian U.21 international, but a deal could be difficult to get over the line, with West Ham also keen on the player.

Harry Souttar has for a while been linked with a move to Leicester. The tall Australian international starred in the Qatar World Cup and his current club Stoke needs a good price to let him leave, said to have turned down a £10million offer from Leicester.

Talks are ongoing and it could be that Leicester will be coming back with an improved offer and hopefully get their hands on a new central defender with a future, as this position is an issure at present, with players covering this place for Leicester at present might leave (Soyuncu), struggles (Amartey, Vestergaard) and out with injury (Evans).
