No official statement yet, but we believe this deal is settled and done. A fee of £17million with possible add ons is said to be the price accepted by Copenhagen as the U.21 international is soon due for his medical.

Victor Kristiansen showed in the Champions League game vs. Man City that he can cope with a major challenge has he kept Riyad Mahrez quiet. He is only 20 years of age and with the Wesley Fofana transfer in mind, we certainly hope that judgement on this player will give Brendan Rodgers the left back alternative he is looking for.

As we mentioned earlier Victor Kristiansen is not valued to this type of transfer fee, and a major risk taken by Leicester, who must be convinced that this player is worth such a grand fee, and to sign players from Danish Superliga directly to Premier League can be a difficult jump, as we have seen with Daniel Amartey who also joined from Copenhagen.

Leicester need a left back, but we are a bit surprised to see the Danish U.21 international being the one signed, when we had believed Brendan Rodgers would have liked a more experienced man to cover this position.
