Tetè is close to complete his move to Leicester from Shakhtar, coming in after cutting his loan to Lyon. The 22 year old Brazilian can be a sensation at Leicester and hopefully bring more power to the attacking flanks.

We early believed that Tetè would be the next man in together with Stoke defender Harry Souttar, but as one deal looks to go over the line, the situation regarding the Australian international tower looks far from closed.

Other names in these positions are now linked with Torino defender Perr Schuurs being talked up as a possible player to approach. The Dutch U.21 international made his move to Torino in the summer, moving from Ajax. The 23 year old is in the frame of Louis Van Gaal as Schuurs was named in the Holland full squad back in September 2020.

Dennis Praet could be part of a deal going the opposite way. Schuurs is a player that of course would be seen as a massive scoop, but so far only played 6 league games, joining in August last year. He is a leader on the field and was duing his days with Fortuna Sittard named captain at the age of 18.

So far we feel this looks a bit soft, but if the Harry Souttar deal is off, we could this as a great move in the market. Stoke looks reluctant to let Souttar leave for less than £15million, and we will just wait and see what will happen in the days left of this transfer window.

Leicester looks to be busy and the name Jack Harrison is on the radar as a bid of £20million is said to have been tabled for the flank forward. Leeds is said to be “not eager” to a sale, but his contract runs out in June 2024, and with other clubs coming in, the former England U.21 international might be eager to look at options.

Youri Tielemans, James Maddison and Ayoze Perez are all players linked with possible moves. Ayoze Perez was left out of the Leicester squad today and a move looks imminent, with Real Betis being the hot favorite, but a late run from Villareal makes it difficult to predict were the former Newcastle forward will go, but he certain to see him leave Leicester.

The situation regarding Youri Tielemans and James Maddison makes it difficult to see them both leave, but a late push from Arsenal or Man Utd could see us wave farewell to Tielemans. We believe James Maddison will stay, and not make a decission on his future until the summer. .
