News coming through this morning that Oliver Skipp is close to a Leicester move, with a fee close to £20million, the price to pay. The payment is said to be splitted up in different parcels. Too much must be the first reaction, but a player with huge potential, still seen a bit down the pecking order at Spurs, mostly on the fringe.

We are still waiting for further information regarding Jordan Ayew and his supposed move to Leicester, but not alone in this chase as a major money deal in Saudi connections could tempt the Ghana international to move out of English football.

Oliver Skipp and Jordan Ayew are both players that would give Premier League experience to the club, and the type of qualities the club at this point needs as they both know what they will have to bring to the table to be able to compete at this level.

We have seen a lot of negatives from the fanbase in front of the season opener vs. Spurs, mostly directed to those running the transfer roll at the club, not being able to support Steve Cooper the way they should, but hopefully moves for one or two more players, will ease the pain put on a certain group of fans.

Steve Cooper will this season be looking for a pragmatic approach regarding the teams Leicester play, but last season against possession oriented teams, Leicester managed great results with Enzoball in place, not really having seen the full picture of his plan in Premier League action.

We do believe that the hunt for more new players will continue until the very last day of the transfer window, shutting on August 30 at 11pm UK time.
