Harry Maguire and Jonny Evans both got minutes in Man Utd opener vs. Fulham. Maguire playing from start, being substituted in the 81st minute, making space for Jonny Evans, who then was on the field when they scored their winning goal in the 87th. Calvin Bassey playing the full game for Fulham, Timothy Castagne was an unused sub.
Former Leicester coach and new Birmingham manager Chris Davies came home with a strong 3-2 win away to Wycombe. Credit to him and assistant Ben Petty, hopefully building further as they are unbeaten so far, starting their campaign with a 1-1 draw at home to Reading
Watford manager Tom Cleverley must be very pleased at the moment, opening the season with two wins, winning 3-0 at home to Stoke. Stoke goalkeeper Victor Johansson was possibly not as pleased.
Michael Keane played all minutes for Everton in their 0-3 nightmare defeat at home to Brighton. Harvey Barnes came on for Newcastle in the 71st minute, helping to secure a 1-0 home win vs. Southampton.
Aston Villa came out of the opening game of the season with a nice 2-1 win away to West Ham. Youri Tielemans in the team from start, made a perfect assist on the opening goal, curling in a corner kick to his fellow Belgian international, Amadou Onana.
Callum Elder has seen a good start for his Derby, playing all minutes for The Rams in their 1-0 home win vs. Middlesbrough. Mark Robins and his Coventry defeated Oxford 3-2 at home. Elliott Moore in the middle of defence for Oxford.
Harry Souttar came on from the bench for Sheffield United. He entered the field in the 77th minute, not able to help The Blades to secure their lead as QPR scored a late equalizer towards the end, as the match ended 2-2.
Callum Wright came off the bench for Plymouth in their 1-1 home draw to Hull. Wright entered the field in the 82nd minute as the game faded, both goals being scored earlier in the game. Callum Doyle played from start, making his 2nd appearance for Norwich, in their 2-2 home draw to Blackburn.
Connor Wood played the full game for Tranmere Rovers in their 0-0 draw away to Port Vale. Tom Hopper played every minute for Colchester in their 2-0 home win vs. MK Dons.
