The level of Premier League is one to respect heavilly, undoubtly the best league in the world and to be playing at this level you need to be something special. Luke Thomas (23) broke into the first team as a teenager. This season again been on the fringe after spending time on loan last season at Middlesbrough and Sheffield United.

He has been given two league starts this season, showing his ability, not to be faulted as he is a great and special player. England u.21 international and one that you need to rate, as he often shows his qualites, being in the FA Cup winning side vs. Chelsea, and also part of the England u.21 team, winning a special gold medal in UEFA European Under-21 Championship, in 2023.

Difficult to accept all the negativities from certain parts of the Leicester fanbase as they often talks down their own players and do not understand the level the club have players on. Bundesliga club Hoffenheim, who turned Andrej Kramaric into a legend, shows interest in signing Luke Thomas.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano the Bundesliga club are not prepared to pay the money Leicester believe they are entitled to. England do have a major problem at left-back, and Luke Thomas is one rated highly and we could see him as a potential player to get into Thomas Tuchel’s England squad, but he needs game time at a certain level.

Luke Thomas is at the moment just a cover for Victor Kristiansen. James Justin are also an alternative player to use in the left back. Kristiansen is a regular starter for Denmark and to date on 17 full caps, but still not really seen as a proper Premier League class act. Last season he was brilliant for Bologna in Italian Serie A, to just understand what level you need to be on to find your place in this special league. James Justin is also a solid footballer with international experience both at u.21 and full level for England, though his only cap came as far back as 2022, in a defeat to Hungary.
