One change from start, dropping Jakup Stolarczyk, giving a start to the obvious first choice, Mads Hermansen. It was to become a nightmare of a return, letting in a goal after just 10 seconds, the fastest goal scored by a home team in Premier League history.
Fans were on a high after that fantastic away win vs. Spurs, but today Leicester showed again their lowest point, with a certain Everton manager having done his homework to the best of grades.
To let in a goal after 10 seconds is something, but to do it again 6 minutes later, makes to no excuse, awful defending as well as little or no pressure in the midfield area, showing the low point of this Leicester team as they can upset the most positive fan.
Victor Kristiansen had a chance to score in the 25th minute, but his attempt went wide over, as he could have given Leicester a chance to get back into the game. Other than that, Leicester never managed to penetrate or challenge the Everton defenders and goalkeeper.
Then in stoppage time of first half, it happens again, Beto is played through and he is ruthless, scoring his second goal of the day, Everton are 3-0 up at half time.

We had thought changes would have happened coming out second half, but no moves from Ruud van Nistelrooy, giving more minutes to players who had let him down heavily in the first half. Everton continues to put pressure on Leicester, but defensively it looks better.
Changes are done in the 60th minute, exits for Jannik Vestergaard and Jamie Vardy, in with Patson Daka and Caleb Okoli, as the main problem not being addressed, having pace and skill out wide, continuing to play with Jordan Ayew and Bobby De Cordova-Reid, both being very silent and not able to contribute much.
New changes done in the 76th minute, bringing on Woyo Coulabaly for James Justin and Stephy Mavididi for Bobby De Cordova-Reid. To see again Facundo Bounanotte not being used, tells the story, most givenly a manager who had given up on any type of results this afternoon.
Then in the 90th minute a major error by Bouba Soumare and in conflict with a few other Leicester players, makes it possible for Everton to score their 4th of the evening, as a new win is in the bag, 4-0 at home in the last league game vs. Leicester at Goodison Park.
This was a new low point as it shows the level of the performance, and how flat a Leicester team under Ruud van Nistelrooy can be, hopefully the next game will give another outcome, Man Utd coming up next in the FA Cup, bringing on Arsenal at home in Premier League after that.
- Positives
- Victor Kristiansen shows more and more of what is needed to be the first choice left back at Leicester, solid again, this time also defensively
- Woyo Coulibaly getting minutes
- Strangely enough ending 0-4, Leicester having more possession
- Negatives
- The start, the end and everything in between, not to the level needed
